Terms of Service

1. About these terms

PykTools (pyktools.com) is operated by TRAN NGOC HAI(“we”, “us”). By using the website or signing in, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PykTools.

2. The service

PykTools provides online tools to convert, edit, organize, secure and sign PDF files, and AI features that read, answer questions about, recognize text in (OCR) and translate documents. Most tools work without an account. AI features require you to sign in.

We may add, change or remove tools at any time. We aim to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Accounts

• You sign in with Google or Facebook. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it.
• One person, one account. Creating accounts to collect free credits repeatedly is not allowed.

4. Credits

• Free credits. New accounts receive 25 free credits. Free credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred or exchanged for money.
• Usage-based charges. An AI request is charged according to the AI processing it actually used (for example, the length of the document and of the answer, and the mode you choose). Any amount shown before a request is an estimate; the final charge appears in your credit history. If a request fails because of an error on our side, it is not charged, or the credits are returned automatically.
• No expiry. Purchased credits do not expire while your account is open.
• Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another account.

5. Payments

Credit packs are sold through Creem, which acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Creem processes your payment, handles taxes, and issues your receipt; your card details go directly to Creem and are never seen by us. Prices are shown on the Pricing page before you pay. Credits are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed.

6. Refunds

You can get a full refund of a credit pack within 14 daysof buying it, as long as you have not spent any credits since that purchase. When the refund is issued, the pack's credits are removed from your balance.

• To ask for a refund, email [email protected] from the address of your PykTools account with the purchase date or the order number from your receipt, or contact Creem, which processed the order.
• We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are paid back to your original payment method by Creem, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
• Packs whose credits have been used, or requests after 14 days, are not refunded, except where the law of your country gives you that right or a fault on our side stopped you from using the credits.
• Credits are digital content delivered immediately. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another country with a statutory right of withdrawal, you agree at checkout that delivery starts immediately and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once you start using the credits. The 14-day refund above applies in addition to, never instead of, your statutory rights.
• Please contact us before opening a chargeback; we can usually resolve problems faster.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload documents you have no right to process, or use the tools to infringe copyright or other rights;
• remove passwords, protection or DRM from documents that are not yours or that you are not authorized to unlock;
• use PykTools to create forged, fraudulent or misleading documents, including fake signatures, IDs or official records;
• upload malware, or try to break, overload, scrape or bypass the limits and security of the service;
• resell, or build a competing service on top of, PykTools without our written permission.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Credits on accounts closed for abuse are not refunded.

8. Your files and AI output

• You keep all rights to the files you upload and to the results. You give us only the permission needed to process them for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• We do not exploit, sell, rent, trade or share your data or files in any form, and we do not use them for advertising, profiling or AI training. They are used only to perform the task you request.
• AI answers, OCR text and translations can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check important results yourself, and don't rely on them as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
• Digital signatures and redaction are tools; you are responsible for using them in a way that is valid for your purpose.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

PykTools is provided “as is” and “as available”. Keep your own copies of important files. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using PykTools at any time and ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Unused purchased credits are lost when an account is deleted, except for packs still eligible for a refund under section 6.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects you, we will show a notice on the website before it applies. Continuing to use PykTools after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
